Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. ✨ About the Team ✨

The Customer Applications Division (LoB) is on a mission to co-create with our customers to strengthen Woven's relationship with them, enhance development collaboration, productivity, and automation while ensuring high quality and safety.

Arene Professional Services, as part of this division, provides business transformation, organizational training, software product customization, development of customer help desk functions, and comprehensive preparation and support for software adoption.

🌟 Who We're Looking For 🌟

We are seeking talented individuals who have extensive experience in systems engineering and in-vehicle software development, and who are eager to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment. As a Solutions Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions for automotive applications and development platforms. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving innovation, optimizing performance, and ensuring the success of our in-vehicle software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test customer-facing solutions that extend the platform's capabilities using the Arene toolchain.
• Build strong partnerships with the Arene team and respond flexibly to platform evolution.
• Define and adhere to best practices in Arene application development.
• Utilize, evaluate, and provide feedback on tools and platforms built by the Arene team.
• Support the development of next-generation mass-produced vehicle applications through close collaboration with customers.

Required Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with Japanese automotive industry companies.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency (speaking and writing) to negotiate with Japanese automotive OEMs.
• Practical English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Practical software development experience and
• Creativity and motivation to tackle tasks and challenges outside your area of expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to drive engagement with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software development in robotics or the automotive field.
• Practical software development experience using C/C++.
• Experience in automotive body and dynamics domains.
• Knowledge and experience in functional safety (ISO26262).
• Software integration and testing experience.
• Practical experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of programming languages and compiler internals.
