Senior Unity Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Unity Engineer to craft high-impact and interactive mobile applications with exceptional quality at an impressive pace 🏎️.
You will have the unique opportunity to contribute code that will be used by tens of millions of users across the globe. Some of our Unity apps include Beat Maker Pro, Piano and Pixel Color.

This role offers a chance to hone your skills and to be an active part of the Product Engineering department and your Squad. More specifically, you will:

• Collaboratively work with the Product team to analyse user needs and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy new mobile features and applications, ensuring that you adhere to best practices in Unity development.
• Write advanced rendering algorithms and shaders for signals, images, and videos.
• Actively participate in continuously improving and maintaining existing applications to meet the evolving needs of users and the business.
• Engage in testing and quality assurance of all developed features and applications to guarantee reliability and functionality.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, Product Managers, and other engineers to deliver collaborative projects.

With your extensive Unity and (C#) development expertise, you excel at transforming complex requirements into innovative solutions. Expected competencies:

• Unity Development: You bring at least five years of professional experience in Unity development for mobile applications with a deep understanding of (C#) programming. Your portfolio should showcase at least one game or interactive Unity mobile application. Bonus point if your expertise extends to shader development (Cg/HLSL, OpenGL, GLSL, Metal, etc.), and you are acutely aware of the constraints in mobile development, such as limited disk space, RAM and FPS.
• Scalability and Maintainability:  You produce efficient, scalable, and maintainable code. You are proficient in runtime code as much as editor tooling to increase productivity and simplify developers' lives.
• Think First, Code Later Approach: You plan thoughtfully before coding and understand the importance of strategising to ensure efficient and effective development processes.
• Continuous Learning: You stay informed about technological news and actively engage in learning and discussions with colleagues to share knowledge and learn.
• Team Collaboration: You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and can communicate technical ideas effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Communication: You can clearly and understandably explain your ideas to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Attention to Detail: With a keen eye for detail, you ensure your work is of the highest quality.
